Preview Of Selera Bazaar Ria Buffet





The Gardens Hotel will be buzzing when The Spread launches its annual break fasting dinner called Selera Bazaar Ria Buffet Dinner this Holy Month.

Featuring five menus on rotation, its must-try dishes include chef’s specialties such as Lamb Bone Marrow Briyani,  Udang Goreng Ala Mamak, Chicken Shawarma, Kambing Bakar, Tempe Goreng Berlada, Ayam Madu Special, Satay Ayam/ Daging, Ikan Siakap Ala Pak Wan, and Asam Pedas Ekor, and many more available at food stalls for you to choose from.

The buffet spread will also feature a variety of dishes from different cuisines such as Indian, Malay, and Chinese, live cooking station, and a dessert corner to satisfy your sweet tooth.

DoubleTree By Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside Presents Citarasa Serantau Buffet Dinner This Ramadan

DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside proudly presents local favourites this Ramadan with an extensive celebratory menu featuring themed buffets and sahur buffet at Makan Kitchen and more.


This buffet dinner is part of the nationwide ‘Citarasa Serantau’ campaign by Hilton hotels in Malaysia. Inspired by Malaysia’s unique cultural tapestry and culinary heritage, this year's theme calls for all foodies to explore the iconic flavours of Malaysia and beyond. 


Citarasa Serantau which means flavours or taste from the region, not only highlights local favourites but also dishes from our neighboring countries like Indonesia and Thailand. Malaysia stands out as the centre of diversity in Asia and Citarasa Serantau at Hilton, is a testament to that.

Makan Kitchen will feature a variety of its signature dishes and action stalls that promises a feast for the senses. The buka puasa buffet menus are also kept on a weekly rotation to give diners a fresh experience everytime.
The outlet offers an enhanced dining experience for diners and features a wide array of premium signature dishes such as Kambing Panggang Rempah Sangai Sumbat Nasi Kebuli, Roti Khurasan, Kambing Chicken Shawarma, Ayam Bakar Tempayan, Gulai Tunjang Jering, Ketupat Sotong Sumbat Telur Masin Kuah Lemak Putih, Itik Salai Rendang Cili Api and more. Guests will also enjoy live desserts such as Rempeyek Bunga Telang Hijau Tapai Ubi,  Goreng Vanilla Ice-cream and Serawa Durian Pulut Lemak. 
These signature dishes are not only cried favourites but have been put together carefully to be bring unique dishes to diners as part of the dining experience at Kajang Kitchen. Guests can enjoy the Citarasa Serantau Buffet for RM188nett per adult and RM94nett per child (6-12 years old).  And children below 5 years old eats for free.  Diners can enjoy early bird offer at RM148nett per adult and RM74nett per child for bookings made from 23-31 March 2023.

2Diners will have the option of Al-fresco dining at Temenggor, which is adjacent to Makan Kitchen. TheTemenggor area will be decked with five live cooking stalls which will be a feast for all your senses. Diningoption at Temenggor is priced at RM148 nett per adult and RM74nett per child (6 to 12 Years Old) and children below 5 years old eats for free.

Citarasa Nipah At Eq Is Back With An Outstanding Showcase Of Malaysia’s Diverse Culinary Heritage

During the holy month of Ramadan, EQ’s famed Malay Chef Muhammad Hajral Lisarni will be your guide to the gastronomic splendour that is traditional Malay fare at Nipah. Chef Hajral has planned a lavish spread of evergreen flavours that are true to the traditional methods of Malay food preparation, with the hopes of bringing back fond memories of passionate slow cooking and the pleasure of sharing a meal with friends and family. Citarasa Nipah's buffet this year will feature both the traditional and innovative takes on Malaysian favourites.

One of the most emblematic dishes of Malaysian cuisine, EQ’s signature satay, will also be featured prominently. The carvery features kambing golek as an additional meat option (roasted whole lamb). Chef Hajral’s signature Nasi Beriani Kambing Batu Pahat, which will be served with nasi beriani and vegetable dhal, also features lamb as a main ingredient. 


The other foods in the reserve will be dishes like Gulai Lemak Cili Padi Daging Salai, Sambal Tumis Udang Harimau, Ayam Goreng Mamu, Tulang Rawan Gulai Kawah, Kerabu Daging, and Popia Basah Ala Nipah. Lompat Tikam Sago and Som Som Gula Melaka, a sweet local dessert, will be featured.

Chef Hajral maintains that native Malaysians will always miss the authentic tastes of their home, despite the prevalence of modern, simplified versions of some classic Malay dishes. For this spread, the recipes have been used for decades and handed down from a bygone era, before the invention of time-saving kitchen appliances. Chef Hajral explains that the secret to the success of these recipes is that they were passed down from generations of women who spent hours slaving over the stove to achieve the coveted "tridents" of tenderness,  richness,  and consistency. 
Making a resplendent return, Citarasa Nipah now offers a widest variety of delicious kerabu (local salad) prepared by Chef de Partie Saadiah, another fan-favorite from last year! Chef Saadiah is a kerabu expert who has modernised our humble yet traditional kerabu and elevating it to new gastronomic heights that are bound to tickle even the most discerning palates. She promises that each day there will be a good amount of sampling of the 41 different kerabu; no two days will ever be alike. She whips up special sauces, flavoured with aromatic oil and sambal belacan that is certain to get us hooked yet again. Usual favourites like freshly shucked oysters, mussels, tiger prawns, baby scallops, and more will be among the fresh seafood on ice.
